British cops fight armed robbers and dangerous assault rifles and shotguns totting criminals, using only wooden bats, bare knuckles, and standard handguns? Oh but it’s a ‘hardcore’ London detective squad, the Sweeney. So hardcore they, some of them anyway, use ‘intense’ interrogation techniques, use coarse language, fuck each other in public toilet and Holiday-Inn, and also corrupt.
By the way, nice Christopher Nolan style imageries and musical soundtrack emulation, Mr. Director. Nothing’s really original these days, and it is in fact a 70′s TV series remake to begin with, eh?
